This data processing notice provides information on the processing of personal data provided in connection with subscribing to the newsletter on the menu of the restaurant operated by the Data Controller (hereinafter: “Restaurant“).

Sending newsletters related to the health awareness program launched by the Data Controller.

The explicit consent of the data subject

Natural persons who subscribe to the newsletter as part of the health awareness program.

Categories of personal data

Last name, first name, email address

Data retention period

For 30 days from the date of cancellation of the subscription by the data subject.

Data transfer

No data transfer pursuant to Articles 44–49 of the GDPR takes place.

Recipients

None

Method of data provision           

Voluntary, if the data subject does not provide their email address, they will not receive the newsletter sent as part of the program.

 

Rights Related to Data Processing

 

The Company, as the data controller, ensures the rights set out in the GDPR for data subjects, including the following:

  • Right to information (right to prior information): The data controller must provide appropriate information about the manner and circumstances of the processing of personal data
    (GDPR Recital 60).
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time: In order to terminate data processing based on consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal (GDPR Article 7).
  • Right of access to data and information related to data processing (GDPR Article 15).
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (GDPR Article 16).
  • Right to erasure of personal data, and where personal data have been made public, the right to request that other data controllers be informed of the erasure request (“right to be forgotten”)
    (GDPR Article 17).
  • Right to restriction of processing (GDPR Article 18).
  • Right to data portability: The right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to request the transfer of such data to another data controller
    (GDPR Article 20).
  • Right to object: Where data processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority, or for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the data controller or a third party (GDPR Article 21).
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the data subject believes that the processing of personal data violates the GDPR (GDPR Article 77).

 

Exercising Rights Related to Data Processing

The data subject may contact the Data Controller using the contact details provided in Section 1 in order to exercise their rights related to the protection of personal data. If the data subject believes that their rights relating to the protection of personal data have been violated, they may seek remedy from the following authority:

If the data subject identifies unlawful processing of their personal data, they may initiate civil proceedings against the Data Controller. The court with jurisdiction is the regional court. At the choice of the data subject, the proceedings may also be initiated before the court of the data subject’s place of residence.
The court having jurisdiction based on the Data Controller’s registered office is the Metropolitan Court of Budapest (1055 Budapest, Markó u. 27., +36 1 354 6000).
